TOPIC: Cameron, Coulson and Hague
#117174
Cameron, Coulson and Hague 11 Years ago
These wankers now urge less connection between politicians and hacks - bollocks. Yet again they go for the wrong problem. Both politicians and hacks need serious moral guidance and changes in behaviour. Speaking to each other is not one of them.

Spin is useless without believable policies to promote with it.

But if people believe everything they are told (and they seem to) it doesn't matter how daft the policies are.

The internet has made the general public far more informed, and they don't now tend to be led about like sheep any more...they cottoned on to the celeb pedo farce, the CPS and police alas still believe their own spin.

The trouble with politicians/PR people is that in essence, they become professional liars. In a world where what people think of you (image) is far more important than anything else (usually the dull truth), you're constantly toying with the truth and dissembling for your own advantage - they probably end up believing what they say when they say it. Marketing people are the same, though I'm still on the fence where music moguls - or what's left of them - are concerned.
