TOPIC: Child abuse panel; latest

Child abuse panel; latest 10 Years, 9 Months ago
The current theory is that the child abuse lobby is deliberately delaying the start of the investigation since they anticipate - as seen in last Sunday's Mail - a strongly critical report finding that most accusers lie or exaggerate.

May also be good to wait a while as some accused may die and eadir to fling the blame at those as
no court case as in JS two years ago, cannot defend them self or challenge dates etc.

Nobody wants an investigation that they fear will reveal them to be a gullible fool.

The legal challenge against Fiona Woolf appears to be from someone reported about previously. One of the articles refers to a solicitor who featured in a report by the same DM journalist who wrote the recent Savile article.

"a victim of historical child sexual abuse has launched a legal challenge to the choice of Fiona Woolf ... describes himself as a "survivor of abuse" at a school in the 1980s, said he had "zero confidence" in the inquiry, suggesting it had "no investigatory powers" and Mrs Woolf appeared "weak as water" when questioned by MPs on Tuesday"
www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-29719090

"Police launched an inquiry into allegations of abuse at the fee-paying school in the Highlands earlier this year, after a complaint from A...L... who suffered both physical and sexual assault while a pupil at the school.
He said he was unable to work after suffering a serious injury last year that brought back memories of his time at the school, and has been diagnosed as suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
L..., who is among the victims taking legal action, said: “I’m living in purgatory at the moment. I’m unable to work. I’ve no money and the Catholic Church has offered no assistance whatsoever."

"A solicitor** ... said the firm would be seeking from £30,000 to more than £100,000 per person ..."

Leon Brittan is spoken of as a condemned man.

JK is right, society is totally fucked.

Thank God I'm not around for too many more decades and I look forward to taking my place in Heavan and as the great Gough Whitlam said "if there is a God and I meet him you can be sure I'll treat him as an equal"
