Had a day in Lincoln again yesterday - lovely city (and not too many expensive shops for Mrs ITK to get lost in !)

A city steeped in history - and where the tank was invented and built, for use in WW1.

SP17 is going on a rampage by a tank, don't forget to do Bakewell.

If you do go to Thanet look out for Pattaya contacts - £4 blowjobs could be coming your way.

And don't forget the magnificent cathedral there which, if I walk up the hill near me, I can see from 30 miles away here in Notts. The Lincoln Imp is of course inside the cathedral and always worth seeking out if you can find him.

I don't think I've ever been to Lincoln so I may drive up there sometime.

Straight up the A1, turn off at Newark. If you fancy some exercise park your roller at the bottom of the hill then walk through the city center and up Steep Hill, grabbing a nice coffee on the way up in one of the tea shops then a wander round Bailgate and into the cathedral. Lovely.

Or do what I did (use the walk and ride service to get you UP the hill and walk back down) !

Lovely old bookshop in the Jews House (probably the oldest house in England, circa 1160?)

Plenty of independent shops up the Bailgate.

Also worth going to the Castle and also the Magna Carta exhibition which opens next year, I think.

Ooh, that sounds like you could be Retford based, Cowcumber? I know if you go South of Retford station on the East Coast mainline you can see the cathedral well on a clean day in the distance.

No, much further south than that. I'm on the edge of Nottingham. Though I did have a serious motorcycle accident near Retford in August, from which I am still recovering. In fact, I was told I'm lucky to be here at all, so I'm grateful to be able to write these words. Cowcumber is alive and showing at all times!
