More Savile exposures in this weekend's Mail On Sunday 10 Years, 8 Months ago
Illustrating, in detail, what I'm certain a huge amount of normal members of the public must be believing. That a massive quantity of false accusers are doing it for reasons of financial greed. Stealing from charities with the active assistance of our laws and our media - because "it's a great story".

That's good news. Do you think it will stop the tumbrils from rolling?

"I always share all evidence I have with police - Clifford & Harris for example & others also arrest of a man yesterday"

I can't help wondering if the media's reluctance to question any of this is because they not only want to milk the current stories for as long as possible but can see that any stories about miscarriages of justice will be even greater for being post mortem.

I've added the link to the top of the thread. Slowly the false allegations industry is starting to crumble. It astonishes me that more people are not aware that "victims" make things up - both intentionally and unintentionally. I could not believe what happened to me 14 years ago. "This cannot be supported by the law or the media", I thought. It was beyond my belief that any human being could behave as the police behaved - again, sometimes with good intentions but sometimes with selfish, bad and criminal ones.

When - for the first and only time - my credit card was cloned and used days after my house was searched by police (and card number revealed), I opened my eyes. £30,000 charged in Paris (cancelled by my bank - they couldn't even do it properly). Then there was the imaginary door into a brick wall in my house, clearly remembered by many "victims" who drew similar "maps", some of whom had never been to my home.

The "blue door" incident (see Vile Pervert: The Musical).

"Victims" lie or exaggerate or "are mistaken", helped and assisted by police on behalf of the CPS.

I know that feeling, but not just with the police. Yet most people are decent and there has to be some trust.

mixed comments with many believing Jimmy was a rampant abuser and that just some are false claimants.

The problem being- this derails the whole process. Every single claim will now need to be looked at for if one proven fraud gets past the estate executors - the Nat West- become liable.

And those claiming against the estate are no doubt claiming from the criminal compensation board.
Reality is that if any are prosecuted the media will howl them down as 'abusing again' genuine victims.

the media, the police and false claimants aided by hungry lawyers have over-reached themselves and seem to have believed the whole Savile saga was a done deal and an easy run and would never be questioned.

##and the mooted CSA Inquiry will need to delve into this as well.

interesting days ahead.

The same completely uncritical view is being taken about the so called 'dossier'of evidence submitted to Lord Brittan by the late Geoffrey Dickens MP. I am old enough to remember Mr Dickens and his views, he believed - I think sincerely - that homosexuality and paedophilia, were one and the same, if you were gay you must also be a paedophile. His file of newspaper cuttings etc: would appear to have targeted any public figure he suspected of having homosexual leanings and therefore being a danger to young boys. I am sure you remember the hysterical furore caused by many politicians from all parties but especially the Tories, when any indication was given that the age of consent for homosexuals should be lowered to 18, and then again when equality with herterosexuals was suggested. Mr Dickens and those of similar views believed that teenage boys needed 'special' protection from 'predatory' older men. I can remember politicians on television predicting that if the age of consent for homosexuals was lowered, the young male population of Britain would be 'corrupted' and, God help us, 'converted' within a few years. Mrs Dickens burned a copy of this so called 'dossier' after her husbands death, in order to protect his 'post-mortem' reputation, she was a wise lady, not so his son. The present hysteria about historical, institutional abuse is again concentrated on boys, while the present very real sexual exploitation, is of young girls. It is strange that the media, polititians and charities are not constantly braying for an overarching inquiry into all childrens services today to attempt to unearth any present abuse. The only prominent people to raise a doubt about Mr Dickens 'dossier' are Andrew Neil, Michael Portillo and Diane Abbott, who all new him well, and I think quite liked him despite his bizarre beliefs. Meanwhile the 'survivor' groups are claiming that any enquiry should be 'survivor lead' and will, I believe refuse to accept any enquiry chair who will not accept their allegations unreservedly. The word 'alledged' seems to be in danger of extinction in our proud country as everyone, including the two excluded chair persons, apologises for not having the confidence of the 'victims'- the conclusion of the enquiry would appear to have been already decided. The really awfull aspect of this whole fiasco is that it is likely that many prominent men of the time who concealed their homosexuality, are now going to be unjustly accused of being paedophiles, as the dreadful Milliband, Balls and Cooper rub their hands in glee until the monster that has been created has devoured everyone else, and then turns on them. I can only hope that, like Saville, the cracks appear in this sordid fairy tale and the people of this country will realise that they have been sold what is probally the biggest 'pup' in centuries

I forgot to mention in my previous ramblings that Mr Dickens also apparently, believed in witchcraft, and campaigned for retention or renewal of anti-witchcraft laws. Perhaps there is somewhere, a 'dossier' of prominent public figures of the 80's whom he suspected of witchcraft, and we will end up with Cooper calling for a full public enquiry.

He did very much believe in witchcraft, did Dickens.

I remember watching one of those excellent Central Weekend Live discussion programmes in the late 80s / early 90s where a number of Wiccans had got effigies of him and they were pretending to poke them with needles. He looked very, very uncomfortable throughout.

hilarious to read on Twiitter that the crazies want Mark Williams-Thomas to lead the CSA Inquiry but alarmingly..the solicitor who successfully screwed small fortunes out of News Corp over the hacking- Mark Lewis agrees!!

unless he means it tongue-in-cheek
.

Oh I wish his name were put up seriously- his background would crumble so fast in the media

MWT would be great, he cannot be focused on any one subject for more than 30 seconds, would make good TV. He could also do with his Rugger playing mate beside him for a unbias look at the evidence.
No doubt shinannigans have gone on but the chair must not get blinded by the mists of time, it is becoming a witch hunt already and you can throw any name in the pot and it will come up black for ever.

MWT 4 PM I say.

I think there's room for reasonable with Jimmy Savile as it stands, unless your talking extremely tame stuff that lots of seemingly normal men might have done at one point, e.g bum spanking, annoying people with 'forced' kisses on the lips/hands etc (not unlike my gran in some regards) - i.e silly eccentric behaviour he probably had no idea caused such offence...
