The only question about the False Allegations Industry 10 Years, 8 Months ago

has to be - does it exist? Do people make false claims? If you think nobody ever does - then proceed down that road. If you think some do, then the question becomes "how many?". And if, like me, you believe in the power of the media (from personal experience), you may think an enormous quantity of claims are inspired, encouraged and inflated by media coverage. Possibly, in the case of Jimmy Savile, 100%.

What I don't understand is how there can ever be "not enough evidence to prosecute" when you need no evidence other than the complainants word to get a conviction.

and in the case of JS now a 15 yr old boy says he was rummaged, really cannot see JS was into boys at all but I am open to evidence to prove mr wrong. Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.
