It's Honey anything for a 'Smark' and a JK fa. I regulary keep my eyes open for pro wrestling but we only get crap wrestling down here.

Very short skirts for the women. No just very casual clothing jeans etc and maybe look for TNA or WWE T shirt the always go down a treat.

Don't try get sucked in too much if they have a merchandise stand, I was 16 I spent £25 on kids wrestling toys along 2 wallets and a backstage pass.

I wore my all-purpose "black suit, trilby and pearls" and felt very overdressed because most of the others were in anoraks.
I soon found out why when I turned blue and my husband had to get my down coat and fur mitts from the car. I could have done with a trapper hat!


It was great. It was the campest thing I have ever seen in my whole life.
They made no pretence of it being real, it was just good old fashioned fun, although I bet there is more skill in coordinating the pre-determined moves than in a real fight.It was very like professional dancing. People laughed and cheered from start to finish and it was all the joy of pantomime without the rubbish singing.

Andrew, I see what you mean about the merchandise. There was a grandfather with three boys sitting near us and he spent a fortune on signed photos for them and a ten pound photograph each with D-Lo somebody (who was very nice with the children) not to mention all the coke and pringles!
All the children stayed together in a mob and were beautifully behaved so that was a joy in itself.

Yes Pro wrestling is entertainment there is no secret about call it fake, real, scripted, a soap opera or a ballet it's all open to the imagination.

Wrestling it's all about skill, coordinating and communication, about 14 years D'Lo Brown paralysed a fellow wrestler from a botched power bomb. It was a freak accident due to Droz wearing a baggy t shirt this caused D'Lo to drop him as he had a poor grip.

Did you get the tickets before I posted the thread Honey ? I will be checking your local rag and see if hyperactive woman got in the ring and attacked a wrestler with a hand bag.

Did you and your husband cheer, boo and chant 'This is awesome' ?

I remember taking to my dad to see NWA Hammerlock, he wore a green anorak.

Oh yes we cheered along and clapped. I supported the baddies and he had the goodies. I had to dig him in the ribs to make him stop telling me loudly what the next move was in case the man on the other side of him gave him a thump!

We got the tickets on the door in plenty of time and there was an equally good view from any seat except maybe the very front. We didnt buy anything apart from cocacola in the interval so it was a cheap night out.
Next time they are tying two wrestlers together. I cant wait

I love to see Honey cheer on the heels, (villains) sitting at the very front is pointless as all you see are the ropes that can blend in wit outfits etc.

Nothing wrong with your husband being a 'smark' but wrestlers hate it as they think it spoils the entertainment for the 'marks.'

When wrestlers are tied to each other it's called a strap match or a biker chain match.
