"No evidence of a cover up on child abuse" says report 10 Years, 8 Months ago
Not good enough, howl the victims; it's a lie; we will only be satisfied with a report that confirms all our conspiracy theories. I've never spoken to a soul who knew Geoffrey Dickens who didn't think he was barking mad. Should we allow loonies to waste our tax monies? Rather than protect children from future abuse, these barmy obsessives want to waste money on stupid inquiries. Stop it. Now.

You can brush something under the carpet, or brush nothing under the carpet, it's still a coverup!
There seems to be another investigative journalist involved.
His articles at the Daily Star (including several "exclusives", e.g. "Excusive: Tragic Jill Dando probed BBC paedo ring")
Derbyshire officers claim that an analysis of Town Without Pity, Mr Hale's book on the Downing case, had thrown up discrepancies. "A number of witnesses to whom Mr Hale attributes personal comment have told officers they have never spoken to him," says the report.
"Many witnesses say his written version is not their recollection of what was said."
Mr Hale insisted he had done nothing wrong.
"I'm getting shot here as the messenger. I have passed on all the information I have received to the police. Some of that may not have been correct, but in doing so, no one could accuse me of withholding anything which might prove to be evidence."

this is feeding "survivors" distress even more, yes tgey have been abused or lost something of a childhood but being part of this committee is wrong.
MWT, Mr Sthunter cannot be part of it due to their single minded cognetive disorders.
Good QC's non bias thinking will be needed, not everything is a cover up and as sure is eggs is eggs some dirty filthy gits got up to something.
Blokes and females have always had dabblings with someone under age, the age now being 18, below that you were a child, not 30 years ago when Sam Fox had her bangers out for all to see at 16 and prior that in a bikini on front page, LEVEL ONE ABUSE IMAGE ! Lock up all that viewed, LOCK UP THE SUN's EDITORS I SAY for distributiion of child abuse images.
Sorry did I get caught up in this tornado, time for a lay down.

And now Teresa May says "whilst this indicates there wasn't any deliberate cover up, it can never be certain". Ah, now you know how it feels. Prove a negative - prove you DIDN'T do something. It's almost impossible, Home Secretary, especially when proof that you were in another country at the time isn't enough.
I can give you the result of any Inquiry - and the truth - free of charge. No, no deliberate cover up. Yes - some individual cases where people decided it would be wiser/more sensible/more fair to proceed no further. As in everything, somewhere in the middle. Just like Savile. Yes, he did some things. No, he didn't do others. Yes, some claimants are telling the entire truth and yes, some others are totally lying but most are somewhere in between, exaggerating. For various reasons.
Was there a "network of abusers in Westminster"? No. Were there some abusers? Yes. Now go home. And spend our tax monies better.
