Been running 30 years and every year they claim to raise about 30 million (do the sums !).

The are NO children in need - just a lot of grasping parents whop want other to pay so they can spend on scratchcards.

I have always wondered where the money goes, no charity keeps 100% of donations, CIN costs money run as they need to pay electricians and travel expenses for the stars etc.

Annoying when they say things on CIN like 'The kids in this area can't play sports as they are no facilities'. Footballs only cost a few quid and blame Murdoch for buying all cricket rights on Sky Sports. If the local sports centre closed to lack of funding, then that's not out problem maybe they should of used it.

Oxfam bosses pay themselves very nice salaries and nice cars on top, dine in expensive restaurants.

Pains me to say it,and not for your reasons...but yes I agree!

My son got nothing out of CIN, neither did his wonderful school, nor any of his school friends, or indeed any school in the immediate area. I know of no-one who has ever got anything out of CIN, other than Terry Wogan's yearly honorarium.

ITK, I know what you are getting at, but there are 'children in need' particularly those of varying disabilities etc. If charitable aims could target them, it might just save your taxes

But they can only do it three times!

The food banks make people think that we have a genuine back-up system for people in need, when the reality is that people can starve, and are left for months with no dole money and only three bags of shopping before the "limit" is reached.
Only the Trussel trust benefit from organisations and churches PAYING them to deliver what they used to do for free and without conditions! They must hypnotise them or something!

We distribute food bank items at our local church...mostly to foreign gypos....but then again ITK likes foreign scroungers...

When the Jobcentre fucked up our joint claim, we had to rely on a food bank it was degrading, luckily we had enough on the utility meters, but would do you do if the meters are on zero and direct debits are due out ?

I have no idea why ITK favours dole tourists who man of them work ?

Why do women seem to love ? I have to watch it with all my ex girlfriends, Eastenders do the same it's either a pop melody or a musical parody. If CIN was on ITV we have Ant and Dec, Keith Lemon, all presenters of This Morning and followed by Jeremy Kyle Corrie parody or with cast of TOWIE.

Glad ITV no longer do the Telethon as went on for 27 hours.
