John Major backs UKIP 10 Years, 8 Months ago
www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2833198...ohn-Major-warns.html

Cameron running around giving our hard earned money away to Europe...and now even Mr Maastricht himself John Major has woken up to the fact the EU is in a mess!

'Britain is likely to leave the EU unless it allows us to restrict immigration, Sir John Major warned last night.
In an extraordinary intervention, the former prime minister said ‘our small island cannot absorb’ the huge numbers moving here each year.'

Sir John also launched a strong attack on Ukip, saying: ‘I hope we are going to push them back to the fringes of politics from which they should never have emerged.’

But to be fair, UKIP is very much like how a certain aspect of Conservatism used to be - I'd even go as far as to suggest that parts of the manifesto Thatcher would approve of.

On top of that, parts of the BNP manifesto are very much like how old Labour used to be and even Norman Tebbit said reading BNP election material was almost like reading something from the Labour Party decades ago.
