Sorry Angel. But I'm all for opening all borders, breaking down nationalism. We should not only be in Europe but we must join the only country that matters - the human race. Otherwise we won't survive.
As I said to Alex on Talk Radio in the 90s - please give up this silly independence idea and come and be Prime Minister. You're too good to waste.
Big fish in a tiny pond. But he has a classic 18th century Scottish face. Stick a powdered wig on him and you could picture him falling drunk in a ditch alongside a political economist.

Agree JK. Independence was about keeping borders open and It was an Independent Scotland that wanted to be a part of Europe. Now we may get dragged out because of the London vote. Not very democratic is it? You've been believing all the negative spin from the english media! Naught naughty
I must be honest Angel; I've always felt the argument was silly and unimportant. Devolution has little or no effect. To me it matters not whether it's Scotland and Wales and Ireland and England or United Kingdom. As I cross borders from France to Italy to Netherlands to Germany - they are all essentially the same, cultures excepting. Even going into Switzerland, one wonders why they bother.

All very true but when you look closer at the finances Scotland are not getting their fair share. Oil revenues being one. We don't want nuclear weapons either! I'll shut up now.
