Headline statement - BBC or DWP no idea?
But reading down - indivdual motivation good news - yes a big tick
percentage more people looking for work that is more job applications but no further detail of people actually "move into work" so headline and quoted statistics say two difference things.
Logically if the economic upturn itself creates new vacancies then people will move into those vacancies benefit cap or no benefit cap. No report of a shortage of people clearly definited in the last 40 odd years. Some crazy areicle about bricklayers getting £1000 pw which is more to a lack of government pressure for institutions and companies to use and train local resources. It is the free market that want ready made people off the shelf. No input to assist. So another mis direction. I do not recall bricklayers needing 6/7 years training like doctors or whatever.

And absolutely no where in the article does it describe how a benefit cap actually creates new jobs that did not and would not exist as a matter of economic course.

Bottom line pre kindergarten thinking if any thinking done at all. Nonsense.
Want to see a headline and article detail that says
BENEFIT CAP FORCES PEOPLE INTO THE NEWLY AND SPECIALLY CREATED JOBS!
New measures ....details... that has meant yet further numbers in employment above and beyond normal economic growth.

And this not just on April fool's day either.

GOOD !

They WILL find a job (suitable for their skills and talents) if crushed enough.

of the £205 billion or so spent on tax credits and social security benefits
about £111 billion is spent on those over pension age
and £94 billion on those of working age.

Just think how the NHS could benefit from that 94 BILLION pounds a year !!!

I cant see how anyone can find a job if they are forced to spend the entire day providing "evidence of jobseeking" by chasing jobs that don't exist because they are pyramid schemes, zero contract, commission only or charity scams.

Crushing spirits has never been a good way to educate people.

I MUCH prefer Ukip policies actually -

He jokes about "shooting peasants" from the Essex town of Chigwell and supporting "a peasant's hunt through Chigwell village".

I was on to the arch right wing loonies right from the start - the rest were just too dim to realise !

I need to attend daily sign on as well do a course. All records of my job search is now on the controversial UJM website and which I have to use daily if not I will be sanctioned. Nearly all the jobs round here are only a few hours a week or don't match my skills.

I suppose ITK wants the workhouses back along with capital punishment.

When you mention the working age is the British born you're talking about ?
