Deanne Wilson lives off benefits after leaving social care job due to cancer
Mother of three feeds children healthy, good quality meals on £30 a week
Shops at Waitrose and M&S and buys designer clothes from charity shops
Brands people who rely on benefits without trying for work as ‘moaners’
43-year-old who refuses to let family eating habits slip said: 'Just because I'm on benefits, why should I be feeding my children processed sugar?'
End quote.
I don't care how much she paid for it. It simply isn't enough to feed four people including massive teenagers for a week, even accounting for the boys having free breakfasts and lunches, and if she doesn't want them to have processed sugar she should lay off the "juice drinks" that are mostly sugary water.

You will have to explain to (some) dolers, honey! just what some of that "food" is lol !!!!!!
NOT a burger in sight !
Nor a pasty !
If I was a massive teenager I would rather have a pasty than a quarter of a fishcake and a couple of stuffed olives.
It looks as if those lads have had quite a few pasties already !
Problem is good healthy food options often taste crap....just ask Sir Jamie Olive about his crazy school meal ideas.
I very much doubt that any of these wonder shoppers actually use their own menus. The food is
usually bizarre mixtures that nobody would eat, severely lacking in nutrients, or double or triple the price when you convert it into normal healthy portions.
Thrifty Lesley can shove her porky pancakes.
