seems to have so far. Seem genuinly happy.

wonderful seeing Elton turn over a new leaf, so to speak.

This pair have been rather clever by releasing pics on Instagram themselves - controlling what is released etc. Very media savvy.

Sad that McCartney leads - given his level of fame - an admirably modest, decent, respectful and sane life but gets treated with barely any respect these days in Britain, while Elton, who wastes obscene amounts of money, throws the most appalling strops and generally behaves like some egomaniacal reality star, gets indulged with the full 'national treasure' treatment.

I do and I went to the after party at the Sebel Town House (Elton's Sydney base). Elton got very cranky after a while and had an argument with John Reid. Par for the course then of course.

Yes David,my sister got me into her back in '78. The LP Never for Ever back in '80 for me was her peak,and we played it so much it wore out!

I was of that view but have come around now that I realise genuinely devoted male/female couples are excluded legally from many things heterosexual couple are not .

For instance- a bit of debate over sad shooting of gay cafe manager in Sydney siege. His male partner is excluded from benefits a married couple could access- 'widow's payment etc

It's not whether they want to marry or not, it's about one section of society not having the benfits another section does

Equal rights could have been applied without calling it "marriage" and alienating a lot of people who were supportive beforehand.
