The new species of social criminals this century 10 Years, 7 Months ago
As I predicted 14 years ago, false accusers and other vile criminals are the new structure in our society.

'The panel found she made the false allegation, but did not do so dishonestly.'

This 'telling' part is where I fear all false allegations will be classed!

'I honestly thought he jumped out of the bushes and raped me!'...'well not really!...he actually asked me the time'.....commented about the weather....then carried on his way'...'but I was under pressure in my private life'...'the gerbil was sick'...'I'd sneezed at least twice in the last week...'oh and I'm a bit short of the old readies'...so thought the old compo may come in handy'....'does not matter though, can say what I want'....won't get done' ...'in fact'....'didn't I just get promotion?'

Unfortunately I think this is the reality in many cases; the false accusers really ARE persuaded they are telling the truth. Many times someone who thoroughly enjoyed (and even initiated) sexual activity persuade themselves, after the passage of time, that they did not enjoy it or start it because they cannot believe they could ever have done so. Multiply this small detail by a hundred for all the other variations (especially when they involved drink or drugs) and you get the frequent truth. It's rarely one extreme or the other. Nearly always a messy and confused area in the middle.

But in this case, either she witnessed a sexual assault or she didn't. I cant think of any reason this woman should be allowed near a child again.

Yes Honey but she says she "thought" she did see it (persuaded herself) and was "influenced" by the police to confirm her initial account (that often happens, in this new era of police only looking to convict, not for the truth). We are all flawed individuals. We can all make mistakes. Our minds can make us see (or interpret) things to fit our belief. Life isn't simple. She may be a superb, well intentioned, decent person who took against someone and said something she believed at the time.

Cynical (as ever)

Check the UK "False allegations" long list, long before JK's "14 Years Ago".

UK justice went from a rational acceptance of "Presumed Innocent Until PROVEN Guilty Beyond All Reasonable Doubt".

To an irrational support for "The Balance of Improbabilty".

To a deranged bent-cops/law/polit/media, backing "The Unbalanced Probably Innocent Of Lying".

Work place lying the norm. So if the local area social services are conditioned to side with the woman in a custody battle then yes agree with JK the social worker could persuade themselves they saw something. I have seen something on youtube or somewhere that some positive things are starting to happen in that it is accepted in custody battles the ex will use inappropriate sexual behavious or signs of it and encourage the social worker "to see it." So my guess in this situation a number were prepared to allow crimminal activities to take place by the social service worker, police and department. But the lady owned up. I must say that is very usual as normally once they go down that road that is it.
Glad to see some people in position respond to the accused pleas and look into it.
Wouldn't it be great for all concerned that more checks and balances were built in that would protect the father as well as the social worker either themselves and/or their department from making snap false allegations to follow their preconceived ideas. Thus when the social worker comes back and states I saw or thought they saw something more checking and questioning and verifying is done in an orderly fashion to establish the truth. If no serious previous record then caution followed knowing that it is a custody battle and feelings can get very high and clouded.

No. Pure spite and revenge and she didn't give a fig for the feelings of the little girl.

The original story explains how the father objected to her unprofessional behaviour and asked for her to be removed from his case.

Neither professionally nor personally (and it's in doubles figures) have I ever come across an allegation or Rape, or the like, which was anything other than false.

To her credit she did admit to her guilt, and to the Police's shame they tried to push things along...we're in a mess as a society...Ancient Rome...here we come!
