OK Next question about Ched Evans 10 Years, 6 Months ago
What happens if the Court of Appeal finds him innocent? If the CCRC do send it back and it gets accepted. This happens so many times (normally without media reporting - you'd be amazed how many successful appeals there are).

Oh dear, we're so sorry we ruined your life and career young man (the ITK's will say). Have those lost years back. You may now play for a major league team (he'll probably be in his thirties by then). We'll now campaign against criminals who bear false witness, waste police time and pervert the course of justice. Dreadful people; shouldn't be allowed in a police station. And ban ghastly trolls from Twitter whilst you're about it.

Somehow doubt it. Like the media when poor Sally Clark was discovered to have been totally innocent (read the chapter in 70 FFFY), they quietly crawl back into their holes.

You know, JK, that if you start ENOUGH Ched Evans threads, the things you don't want to hear WILL disappear

BUT .... Ched Evans will STILL be TOXIC in football

WHY not ask relevant questions ...

such as "Why has his review been fast-tracked" when there are others
- whose appeal has NOT already been rejected -
still languishing in jail waiting their turn?

Agree with you JK, most players retire at about 34 the only thing Ched will do is make money from reality TV if he is innocent.

Everybody accused is already guilty. Everybody found guilty is guilty. Those who are acquitted got away with it.
If his appeal is successful it wont make a ha'porth of difference, because the bullies have already judged.

Oh yes Honey; that is the dreadful thing about giving the voiceless a voice - it's often the demented who shout loudest and the sensible and intelligent thinkers tend to keep their opinions to themselves.

Oooh, JK - thats a very unkind thing to say about Oldham's intellectually challenged fans !

===

"One supporter, Paul, told his daughter not to put on her club top “because you don’t know what abuse you will get” and said he would have walked away from the club if they had signed Evans. www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/new...oves-on-9970330.html
===

Oldham’s decision to abandon signing the convicted rapist came amid mounting concern that the local council would withdraw financial support for the club’s new £6m stand, though the escalating anger directed at the club was finding targets at every level.

Few will have sympathy for the fact that Evans is understood to be devastated by today’s developments

The player was convicted of rape. The football world has said - no, we don't want you anymore. Fine.

But if the legal authorities say he's not guilty - all bets are off. I hope that is logical - and not taking 'sides'.

It is sad to think that you're correct about everything - even before the world's governments, media and specialist/emergency authorities have analisised matters. About disasters et al.

From your Derbyshire base - you spout about ANY subject your screen reports. Association Football seems to be a good/new example.

Is there really a Mrs ITK?
