about free speech and islam, I do not think we would ever see anything like this on British television. This man is permitted to spread his poisonous views in our country in the name of free speech while anyone who ' offends muslims ' is in danger of being prosecuted by the speech and thought police.
I cannot understand why our leading politicians sudden enthusiasm for free speech and 'the right to offend' has not been challenged by any commentator. as they have undermined the principal of free speech for years. The past her political 'sell by date' Harriet Harmon is spouting the same old nonsense about these atrocities being 'nothing to do with islam' and warning against 'islamaphobia' (a nonsense term). If anything has been made very clear over these past few days it is the frightening rise of anti-semitism in Europe and in the UK.
