but don't you find yourself rather disturbed by the number of people who seem to have faith in these theories? I'm a deeply-dyed "conspiracy" theorist myself, but at least I want some physical evidence to base my views on. Before "care in the community" came along, the commentators on that site would all be having facetime with Jimmy Savile in Broadmoor. Mad as a box of frogs doesn't start to describe them (am I allowed to make that comparison to frogs these PC days?)
These conspiracy theories seem to be all about "I know something you don't" and feeling cleverer than the next person. Perhaps it's caused by boredom and could be cured by a couple of tyres and a ropewalk.
