TOPIC: Monster babies
#127329
In The Know (as always)

Monster babies 10 Years, 5 Months ago
It is always sad when someone has an illness ... but to think that we can change genetics to "solve" this problem is utterly mad.

The new babies WILL NOT be the parents' children - they will be someone else entirely.
In that case why do these parents not simply adopt one of the many thousands of children already awaiting a good home?

This will only "assist" around 150 couples apparently ... while there are thousands awaiting adoption.

... and will they be happy? At the back of their minds won't they always know that it is NOT their child?

Agree there JK.

When people do adopt they always go for Africa.

I haven't made up my mind on this yet; some good things, some bad.
