Very interesting discussion on The Big Question 10 Years, 5 Months ago
Is there life on other planets? My attitude has always been - of course there is; we are simply incapable of understanding it. Life that does not conform to our very limited brain ability is certainly everywhere. We can't even comprehend a boundless universe so how could we understand life?

Quite right. There are more wonders in the universe than we could ever imagine. The vastness in time and distance is one reason why two civilisations might never make contact without even considering the different dimensions that we have yet to comprehend. I certainly don't see why it is any dafter to believe in extra-terrestrial life than religion. After all, there is no definite proof to support either.
