I do think it will crumble around him sooner than later, the Sir Cliff and Jim Davidson cases will prove his downfall along with Savile's neice turning out to be a bit of a story teller.

Some magic certainly seems to have been worked with Rolf's case. Here's hoping he and the others aren't just left to rot.

If the certificates are legible, it should be possible to make out what kind of MA pass mark was obtained, e.g. above or below 60% or 70%.

OK, just found it. Commendation mentioned on the postgraduate diploma certificate, so 60-69% but no mention of either commendation or distinction on the MA certificate, so performance of 50-59%.

It looks as if it's June 2007 for the postgraduate diploma and November 2007 for the MA. There appears to be some quibbling on twitter about the university name at the top of the certificates as if it casts doubt on their authenticity. But the university seems to have had that name until 2007, when it changed, though Wikipedia doesn't say if award certificates were affected and, if so, how quickly.

I've known David Wilson for years.

Given how he is quoted in the above STV link ("David spoke next from a criminology perspective, explaining his beliefs about the type of person Savile was. He obviously had no boundaries. I wonder if it means that he hasn't seen the Anna Raccoon and Moor Larkin blogs and isn't aware of the academic research on the subject or is aware but believes that it's incorrect.

I cannot see that the fat tongued lisper would fake his certificates but a poor pass score.
MW-T has really made some enemys from celebs, TV and newspapers who do not work with him anymore along with lots of attempt to meet men he setup in the late 200s many of whom do not realise MW-T was online day and night entrapping before passing on to his old mate Jimbo Gamble, another loose cannon with something hiding in his closet for sure. MW-T also cutting a cute cosy sofa friend in Stinson Hunter an ex con who set fire to a school but now gets a pat on the back from Mr W-T, I think burning a school down is very high on child abuse, what must those poor children have gone through having to presented with that.

the anti-McCann lot remind me very much of how the public turned on the Dingo Took My Baby lady who also did not present the required public persona.

Always best to listen, see - and take a step back. If someone starts foaming at the mouth about an issue like that then you know their judgement is questionable all round and take that into account.

Twitter can be a like a mirror, so even if you don't know a persons real identity you can gauge their mindset - similarly with the Yewtree-related stuff there's a crazy tendency to 'cherry pick':
"'X' was stitched up, but 'Y' was always a wrong 'un, I just know that"
"It's a witch hunt for sure - but <inserts backbenchers name> is a good man I'm sure"
People who cherry-pick will never be able to see The Bigger Picture - or at least not until it's too late. And if they can't see The Bigger Picture then anything they do pick up on will be pointless.
