Thus speaks the Mail. Yet nowhere is it even suggested that three out of four claims may be wrong, mistaken, made for malicious or greed reasons, a cry for sympathy or after a next day regret that they encouraged the activity.

But I want to be fair here. Maybe the above never happen. Perhaps the Mail is right and questioning police are wrong. Is it possible that every claim IS true and should be prosecuted?

But even so, wouldn't it be sensible, let alone fair, let alone good journalism to mention the possibility in an article?
Or does the Mail simply reflect the majority opinion - that it is NOT possible people lie or make mistakes or change their minds?

In which case the paper must be praised for accepting the generally held view. May their circulation boom and profits increase.

Yes; what is abuse? Taking advantage of someone, either physically or emotionally and intellectually. Humans tend to abuse other humans and most animals, but no more children than any other section of species.

A hand up the skirt of a 15yr old in the 70's got you a slap in the face, today its sexual assault of a child and gets you 18months.

When I was at school 25yr old blokes in Zodiacs picked up 14-15yr olds outside the school gate, doubt it happens now but that is looked at in todays eyes as perverts, PAEDOPHILES, in victorian times blokes were after the 13yr old maids.
We used to keep slaves, still happens today in some places, not like it used to be but it happens. times have changed but the past is the past.

Oh and now MPs took boys to dungeons.... basement really if it happened at all.
