My friend Deniz recorded it and watched the entire series over the last week; absolutely loved it but was puzzled it didn't complete Cromwell's story until I told him Book Three (and hopefully Series 2) hasn't yet been published. Deniz, like many, doesn't really like reading books (I gave him Wolf Hall but he couldn't get into it). He also thought too much time was spent on Anne's execution - but understood that was what the viewers wanted. He agreed that Rylance (and Damian Lewis) were stunning.

I like what I have seen of Deniz. I hope he is well and happy.
