Years ago I watched (several times) the best stage show ever - Nicholas Nickleby by the RSC - and the finest performance was David Threlfall as Smike. He made a great Noah too in a very good TV special.

Although several hundred have read this thread, no other views on the show? I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was very clever - managing to make a gripping show about the Ark with no animals and very little flood was quite an achievement.

Actually it won the night with 4.3 million viewers, almost a million more than Trevor McDonald's Mafia on ITV.

It has somehow passed me by completely. Never mind. I am sure it will be repeated non-stop.
