Song of the Year , no more 18 Years, 5 Months ago  
I read on the internet that this year`s ITV Song of The Year contest wasnt being held because of block voting by fans of Mcfly/Westlife. So is there anyway they could have solved this problem. ?
Myself i`ve gone right off ITV programmes as they are now nothing more than phone in cash cows. Even An Audience With .... is now broadcast live so that they have a phone in with what song do you want to hear. And no sooner than 11pm comes then all entertainment programmes are taken off and replaced by phone-in at

I actually think you have an intriguing point there about "live soap opera" scripting.
This of course could lead to a whole new reality TV show, with all the actors knowing the possible scripts and not knowing which one will get bumped off until the phone lines have closed.
I hate soap operas and would block vote the demise of all the actors personally.
For the ultimate phone in "quizcrap", as you say, wake up at 4 am and go through your Freeview box. I have done this twice this month, the cash giveaway live shows and presenters are quite unbelievable. I enjoy it in it`s awfulness and I know they won`t mind me saying so.
