I caught a band called Dead Wasps at The Attic in Manchester last weekend and really enjoyed them. After a couple of minutes searching online I found the video for their debut single on Youtube. They also have their own website and Myspace (who doesn't!).

For some reason the lip-sync on youtube is not quite on the mark. The video on their Myspace is better if you can't bear the fact that it's off by a milli-second or so.

Hope you like it as much as I do.

Parts of that I like but the whole doesn't grab me.

I liked the vocal, the lyrics and the video. The irk for me is the music.

What I didn't like about the music is the style, the riff isn't too bad but the presentation leaves a lot to be desired. It's a bit too staid for me.

The track has potential and in the right hands could do well.
