TV Ratings: Sunday night it was Planet Earth vs Planet Death 19 Years, 2 Months ago

Well... two lots of Planet Death... Midsomer Murders at 9pm on ITV and I decided to go with David Attenborough.
But I got hooked on SPHERE (another Planet Death) on Ch5.
So at 8.30 I went up to bed to see whether or not I'd desert Sphere for David.
And fell into a heavy sleep, missing the lot!
But I was amused to see David beat Barnaby by almost a million viewers.
The man's a legend.

5.5 million - half the show before but a fair start for Parky's new series. Over 2 million were, like me, trying to squeeze Blair in between segments of Planet of the Apes.
