Civil Partnership 7 Years, 2 Months ago
Can someone please explain to me the difference, legally, between a Civil Partnership and a Registry Office Wedding?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-39028814

This couple seem to be arguing over semantics. The likely outcome will be the removal of gay Civil Partnerships from the law books.

I have always being puzzled by some couples' aversion to marriage.

It IS semantics ... these people are never satisfied.

Hetro couples don't want to get married - but want all the benefits of marriage (why not marry then????)

The other side don't want to be left out - so they are demanding all sorts of loony things (but never explain who is father and who is the mother !)

Fuck me.

Why not just fucking live together and take out a life insurance policy ?

These people want to get married but are too scared to, they are cowards.
