Last night; chicken slowly boiled in stockpot; jasmin rice cooked in the broth... 19 Years, 1 Month ago

broad beans; spring onion, honey, olive oil, vinegar, garlic and caper sauce... an adapted recipe from last week's Times (I ran out of ginger and substituted garlic).
Delicious. Melted like butter in the mouth.
I looked at it and thought "I've made far too much; enough for two".
At which point a friend turned up!
He thought it was as delicious as I did.

...Surprisingly average but cheap. We popped into a "Carvery"(ewww I hear you say), purely because it was raining and we had been in legal wranglings all afternoon, we were fed a platter for two of mixed indian food, a knickerbocker glory, and a bottle of wine, which we were allowed to re-seal and take home for only
