Anybody with a few brain cells will be delighted that Roy Moore was defeated in Alabama but there is an interesting side effect here - without media notice, it illustrates that a hefty chunk of the public now believe that the False Allegations Industry exists.

Doug Jones was overwhelmingly elected by black voters and he has a fine history of pursuing & convicting the ghastly KKK creeps who blew up that church and murdered 4 little girls.

Combined with Roy Moore's idiotic statements that the USA was better with slavery etc.

Mind you only 28% of eligible voters voted so the winner (and loser) get support from about 14% of voters.

More an indication that white Alabamans are frighteningly ignorant and racist.

Reading the tactics that the Democrats also used shows they have got their act together after trump's win and have been brilliantly organising "grass roots" campaigns with 1000s of volunteers.
So if they apply this to more "liberal" states they should win bigly in 2018.

But lots of denial here: whatever the truth of the Moore claims it was considered normal in the South for females to hitch up at an early age.

Also disturbing to see so many intelligent people just accept the Moore allegations as though proved.
But he was such a ghastly character there were dozens of other reasons not to vote for him.
