The unthinking have saddled us with yet another huge bill - that future governments will be still paying off for decades to come.

Although the majority of the Brexit bill will be paid when we leave the EU, the remainder will be paid off slowly and it won't be until 2064 that we pay the final instalment.

Yesterday's announcement that the UK government will borrow £46 billion this year - mainly to pay the £43 billion due in interest payments on outstanding debt - a figure that has been growing yearly since 2000 ... shows just how much money is wasted.

Without this left-over debt we would finally be able to start paying off the National debt.
