What a day, we are absoulutely shell shocked!
We paced around all morning awaiting the car to pick us up, number plate suitably MKK 1, completely by coincedence I might add, temperatures were in the seventies all day and it was perfect.
The strangest feeling hit me personally when we walked into the ceremony, and saw all the people there, which of course I am quite used to, but I can`t explain how odd it is to know every face in the room, unlike an audience at a gig.

I was very nervous when the registrar asked the room the question "Should anyone here know of a reason why these two people should not be married?"
I paused and froze.
The frost in my mood was swiftly broken by hearing our very own Kev cough very loudly behind me!
A classic moment.

The reception had about three times as many people again and we were swiftly out of food, the stilton and apple cheese was to die for. An amazing recipe.

We hadn`t really chosen a wedding tune, but my best mate sang us "The Ship Song" by Nick Cave and it was spine tingling.

Inevetably I had to sing with my old mates, who rather stupidly tempted me by saying "you are going to do something really obscure aren`t you?".
Which I wasn`t actually but the temptation was too much and I hastily recalled the first song I ever had published which is 22 years old.
Fitzpain stole the show, if you could call it that, for sheer enthusiasm.

But of course it was all about a cheese!

The famed cheese on the website was not ripe, but they sent us his older brother who was marvellously decorated with a bride and groom on top and ribbons around the side.
We cut it with a 3 foot long rapier for it`s papparazi, which was great fun, it was hilarious, especially to people that thought we just had a mouldy cake!
Those whole cheeses must have a retail value of

Sounds brilliant Mart; wish I could have been there - well, I was in spirit and represented by several Tipsheeters!

It is of note that I didn`t mention any Tipsheeter who fell asleep in his chair later in the bar!

I missed out on that bit of news. Must pay more attention.
