But double the quantity since yesterday.

No sign yet of the roses blooming - but my hanging baskets (not actually outside yet!) are already in flower with Surfinias.

Absolutely bonkers weather, I`ve got last years geraniums that failed to die, flowering, as the Lily of the Valley is just breaking through the ground.

Here up north we have the normal weather for this time of year. Rain, cold winds and winter duvets. The hawthorne hedges are not flowering, despite the BBC telling me that they are. Swifts have not returned, likewise despite BBC reports that they have. Daffodils are in full bloom but, as yet, no roses. Spring has not turned into summer up here. Everything is as it should be.

Look on the bright side, Cat - it probably means you are not gonna get global warming (so have more chance of surviving) !
