TOPIC: Unarresting the drone arrested
#184077
Unarresting the drone arrested 6 Years, 8 Months ago
It boggles the mind - the inefficiency of British Police (Sussex this time; Surrey would probably have charged and jailed them); the nastiness of the Media who destroyed two totally innocent people because all that matters is a good story. The Drone Fiasco has been a perfect example of Great Britain today. Essentially; chaos, incompetence and nastiness rool OK?

The behaviour patterns of recklessness and blind cruelty are, in essence, no different to those shown in that recent wonderful BBC drama 'The Long Song'.

Totally agree JK.

Named and shamed despite being totally innocent.

Welcome to the UK in 2018!

Sadly despite this there will still be some that refuse to believe that anyone can be falsely accused!

2019 marks 19 years that I've been going on about the state of British "justice" but this will be the year we DO something about it. Too much talking with much agreeing though a few still consider false allegations rare; they are the majority; they are constant; they are frequent and sadly encouraged and assisted by British police. In 2019 we shall put a stop to this, free the hundreds of innocents currently in jail and punish the guilty police, CPS lawyers, dodgy law firms and greedy liars.

I wonder if they really thought these people did it, or wanted it to look like they were doing something?

Neither

Just incompetence

For a major airport to be phased out by such an obvious possibility, is the really worrying thing

Doesn't happen in the US, where drones are ubiquitous

'Drone, what drone? Police make incredible claim there may NEVER have been a drone attack on Gatwick as they release 'most inoffensive bloke ever' and his wife after 'ripping their house apart during appalling investigation''

Oh yes,you really couldn't get any more silly...could you?

Maybe, if you include the "Croyden cat killer" who killed in patterns and arranged the bodies in ritualistic and sexual positions that the police after a lengthy and costly investigation said was a fox!

What dead cats (even those ritualistically and sexually positioned) in Croydon have to do with drone sightings and spurious allegations at Gatwick - is beyond me!

If you read back, Barney, you will see that we were discussing silly things that the police do, or cover up, and the question I was directly responding to was.. "Oh yes,you really couldn't get any more silly...could you?".

I think you must have skipped a post or two?

Lies and panic rule the people. Apparently 67 people got caught up in the mass hysteria and said they 'saw a drone'. Remind you of anything else? Medieval peasants burning witches at the stake. Britain has gone mad, some irrational force has taken over and it can destroy anyone. Hitler's Germany with it's paranoid conspiracy hysteria about Jewish people is the only comparison I can think of.

Drone now being compared not only to dead cats - but to burning witches, irrational forces and Hitler's Germany!

Not only are you completely missing the point, Barney, but you are doing that very annoying thing again, where you judge and censor other people's posts.

When you get your own forum, I will be happy to comply with your (strange) rules, but until then, please leave it to Mr King to decide which posts/subjects/discussions are suitable or not!

My most abject and humblest apologies, Honey

In my defence, however, I do wonder why some compare the incomparable

Drones - in this instance - are virtual weapons

Cats are not

At least, mine isn't - Lycra
