Here's hoping it's not too serious. Being in a ward with cancer patients may not mean he has cancer (wouldn't wish that on anyone). It could just be a hodgepodge of people with different ailments affecting different body parts. Relatives of mine have been in wards like that before.

It's hard to work him out just like the "drunk woman in the lift" tweet

As Jo says, the wards have a mix of patients these days so hopefully it is nothing too serious.
