We started this site in the mid 1990's - suggested by Paul Scaife as a good idea to adapt The Tip Sheet to Online. Very early "new technology" - also based on the much missed Velvet Rope in America and mainly music. Way ahead of others; with numerous board keepers including some in Australia, Asia and America and one who brilliantly kept it up and running during the prison years, with daily JK posts (I used a loophole to dictate to her for long chunks of time at the cost of 10p a call from prison phones to New York). Spam and Troll filters had hardly begun (in those days it was all down to URL's). These days between 500 and 1000 spam posts are filtered out every day (why do they bother? I liken them to those Nigerian scammers; volume is all that matters). Very quickly, as the music industry died, thousands of Your Views posts emerged whilst Tip Sheet posts faded (98% of posts to the Tip Sheet are now discarded spam).
