I am breaking my own rule on never commenting on a death unless I knew them, but isn't it sad when a childhood hero dies? And I am not even sure why that is.

Saw him live in Long Island in the mid 80s in Long Island. He gave me a guitar pick.

RIP dude.

Sad news, but eased by memories of happy times and blissful tunes.

By the way ... Elvis was last seen residing in Eerie Indiana, alongside with Bigfoot. I think he gave up on the chip shop idea.

My brother Jamie reminds me of when I took Peter and Davy down to my Mum's house in Surrey and they loved all the plates on the dresser in the dining room - with French songs on them - and the three of us sang Frere Jacques at the tops of our voices. 1967 I think.
