I won £300 on GreenBook at 3-1 - sad that Capernaum didn't win a handful of Awards - it's far better than Roma and not in annoying, pretentious black and white; delighted that Malek won, his Freddie was fantastic; thought Melissa should have beaten Olivia who is a National Treasure but has been far better than in this delightful but caricature role. But Capernaum deserved Best Director, Best Film, Best Actor and two Best Supporting Actress Awards - the actor playing the boy baby was a girl! Please, please, please go and see this movie - if you can, through the tears.

I was delighted A Star Is Born won virtually nothing - it was a terrible film, badly acted - but it was also Shallow and it DID deserve the award for Best Song - Shallow is brilliant and a real hit.
