I blitzed and blended three mangoes with two oranges along with creme fraiche, milk and sugar.
I have frozen the mixture in seperate wine glasses, which thankfully havent cracked in the freezer.
This dish is to follow my slow cooked crown pork roast with creamed potatoes.
However, I want another one,(already) and I might well put them out first.
It worked fine, very addictive, tastes like junk food and isn`t, the tang on the sides of the tongue is incredible.
Mrs Mart thought I had cheated by putting "industrial" ice cream in.
In actual fact, I reckon if I had put plastic glasses in the freezer, they would have cracked.
I intend to continue this experiment tomorrow with a bag of pears I picked up.
I never realised ice creams would be this easy, all the fuss made about ice cream machines in glossy mags etc, that said , I could not do without my electric whisk and my blender.
I haven`t seen a new kitchen gadget that I thought was needed, apart from what I have.
