Question for JK 18 Years ago
JK, which video editing software did you use to make those lovely little biog clips of yours?

We use that one as well and also the virtually identical
Windows Movie Maker.

I've always been a Mac person (well, since 1990 and Revvolution - and at the insistence of Hunter) and I've just got a new, high speed Intel laptop equipped with iMovies and even Slingbox (highly recommended - you can get your home set top box TV channels everywhere in the world via Broadband).

iMovies are SO easy to work (with a little help from film director friend Nordic and the bright James).

I do think my Tribute to Phil Spector on YouTube works well.

One thing I've noticed having bought my first Apple computer, a MacBook Pro, a few months ago is... I like my Mac.

I don't like my Windows PC and never have much - but I really like my Mac and am quite attached to it.

My "creative" stuff is all on my Mac and my basic business PC will be running Linux (Ubuntu) entirely quite soon.

Above all... I don't understand why I like the Mac, I treat less like a machine than a rather elementary person. The Mac is my friend and I don't know why

Mrs Mart hates Pc`s, but I went back to them because I found I kept dumping projects too easily by accident.
The internet company that do our websites also went back to Windows, which surprise me.

It was a nightmare also when the G4 went down, I like my current Packard station, but I worry about the amount of dust it takes in.
It`s an accident waiting to happen I fear.

It`s faster than the replacement I-book we have though.

iMovie is absolutely top for this sort of thing. Having become a committed Apple Mac user over the last few years it is so simple to use and I use it to digitise my VHS archive into digital format. Very recommended!
