EU Elections 6 Years, 2 Months ago
360 million will vote in 751 individuals, in 28 countries - 21 of which are voting today.

Those we elect in the UK may never take their seats - and, in Ireland, an additional vote was held to reduce the time to get divorced.

Populist, euroscepticical and far right parties are expected to do well - like the Brexit Party here.

Seems the Greens did very well and the Left still dominates Europe.

But even then only 50% turnout.
What'ts wrong with people ? I so love Australia's compulsorary voting which over the decades has created an atmosphere where 95% of voters turn out as the fine for not is minimal, it works.

Has there ever been a time when a party (Brexit) votes for it's own extinction ??

Turnout averaged 51% in the EU - the highest in 20 years.

Only 37% in the UK.

Germany had the highest percentage at 62%.

If I were forced to vote, I would still spoil my voting paper - no one is worth voting at the moment.
