The VAT analogy is quite apt because as James O'Brien keeps insisting..millions of Brexit voters probably voted for what they think it means..as in
"what VAT should we pay" with answers like
"none" "10p" "£1" "£50" and so on...
no-one is going to be satisfied so how are you going to please everyone when they all have different desires?
and the fact that the difference between the millions of Brexit fans and Remain fans is in fact rather small...there's going to be a country where
half the citizens are well pissed off for a very long time no matter what happens!!
