TOPIC: The end of Brexit
#189627
The end of Brexit 6 Years, 2 Months ago
as a thread on this Forum - it is SO boring, so trivial; I've had to dump hundreds of boring posts which simply regurgitate old opinions, old thoughts, old ideas. Just because the rest of the media has hyped it up to being IM-POR-TANT doesn't mean we fall for it. End of waffle please.

it's all a nightmare..there was once a time when politics was about other things...we can't solve it..doubt they can..

Brexit / Remain fatigue..it's a real thing.

The real issue in it all is that government isn't functional while Brexit remains undecided. The treasury reluctant to release funds, the "talent" in cabinet even more myopically concerned with positioning and careers than usual...

A new phase will commence when Brexit is agreed (or not) - on whatever basis. Deal, no-deal; disputed, or with the mandatory conflicts.

Terms and conditions of the original membership agreement(s) will be intensely analysed and dissected.

In hundreds of industries and practices - some of the most critical being:-

Border setup/transfers/migration, aviation legislation, food import/exports and inter country security.

Even our legal system is affected and impacted by the EU. There will be much work needed.

Mostly by lawyers of many different kinds...and nationalities.

Of course, these will need translators etc!!

Brexit's many children will be with us - for a decade at the very least...

Brexit has dominated this forum for too long, but not as long as operation yewtree and so-called 'false allegations'.

Indeed Robbie and I think the entire media should ban Brexit but sadly my past experiences means these forums will continue to bang on about false allegations until something is done about them. It's those naive and innocent visitors who think it couldn't happen to them that worry me. When it does the shock could kill them - as it did Deniz Corday who used to moan at me "get over it JK" until they banged in his front door and killed his two best friends. Then it killed him too.

I come here for false allegation info.. and hopefully in depth examination of the media etc...used to love the food posts of both you and Mart from ten plus years ago...I'd be more than happy to go back to the days when we laughed at BR and ITK for posting politics.. certainly brings out the worst in me...and possibly limits some great work in others.
A good evening to you Sir.

Been falsely accused of Sexual abuse, particularly against children, must be one of the worst things that can happen to you, however for people to jump on every single allegation of historical sexual abuse and declare that this is a false allegation, without knowing anything about it will not help the cause of those that we know have been falsely accused.
