Also, people can very often work out who the other party is, if the accused name is made public.
Common sense tells us that not
all failed convictions are the result of a deliberately false accusation.
Do we really want either true victims accused publicly of making it up, or, in a "proper" conviction, true victims who have been through something horrible having the extra upset of everyone knowing about it?
I cant see how revealing the name beforehand helps anybody except newspapers and con-artists.
