Oritse Williams - yet another False Allegation bites the dust; slowly but surely ordinary people are starting to see through the lies (it took the jury 2 hours). Mark Williams Thomas must be furious. Now how about the hundreds of innocent men in prison?

But very limited coverage compared to his arrest (as usual; media HATES these acquittals).

He was at the top of the Mail website yesterday...still near the top this morning...I posted a link yesterday about it.

Any conviction involving MWT will indeed open a lot of old cases...
and possibly a lot of new cases starring HeadRug himself...

Unfortunately, he will always be viewed with suspicion.
There is no such thing as not guilty, and there wont be, until we stop naming people before they are convicted.

read this... www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreason...e-Williams-rape-case

Also, people can very often work out who the other party is, if the accused name is made public.
Common sense tells us that not all failed convictions are the result of a deliberately false accusation.

Do we really want either true victims accused publicly of making it up, or, in a "proper" conviction, true victims who have been through something horrible having the extra upset of everyone knowing about it?

I cant see how revealing the name beforehand helps anybody except newspapers and con-artists.
