The Catholic church opposes the following:-

contraception (the pill)

homosexuality/gay marriage

unmarried heterosexual (as well as gay) couples having sexual relations, and/or living together

euthanasia

sex acts, including copulation, by its clergy (or any unmarried humans) - with any species or gender

Most other religions disagree with these dated made up principles - including our CofE

I thought the Catholic church reverted on contraception?
Or was it condoms only?

No religion or authority should instill a plan to Trump the natural emotion of human desire - within reason.

'Intrinsically Evil'

Unless by natural methods - says Rome

An odd philosophy and logic

Like electing a Pope, invariably close to 80

Who has never had sex - like the hundreds of thousands of his employees/clerics¡¡!

But nobody is forced to be a Catholic. If you dont like it just go join another church or make up your own.

Forced, no. Allowed to criticise, yes.

In his encyclical letter, over 50 years ago, Pope Paul VI reaffirmed the church's condemnation of contraception.

This view remains the Catholic church's stance today - although the vast majority of catholics ignore it, and are avid users of the pill, condoms etc.

Humanae Vitae is the letter's name, and worth reading - if only to see how this religion refuses to either alter its dated thinking on so many matters, or move with the times.

More progress has been made under the current Pope, than any other - most notably the new willingness to out their paedophile priests instead of denying their existence.

Paul VI described contraception as 'intrinsically evil' in his 1968 letter - and no Pope has changed that Catholic church position.

Even though the Washington Post has learned that over 98% of US Catholic women use contraception. Intrinsically evil, though not a sin!

No need then to confess the practice in Confession, where sins are mysteriously forgiven - by some magical system, of beliefs or subterfuge.
