Permanent Twitter Suspension... 4 Years, 4 Months ago
All the years of trying to get stuff done has been wasted. Important issues still seriously ignored and the elephant is so big, the room.is now filled with shit!

There is nothing I can do anymore. I can't be bothered to appeal it.

People need to fight even harder now as things will get worse. Especially for officials ( I wouldn't stand in the way of that).

My offending tweet was one where I suggest officials should get the death penalty like other terrorists.

Irony is, we have the death penalty in the UK. It needs to be opened up.

This countries views on some issues is so ridiculous, it isn't worth fighting for any more.

Take care everyone.

Don't break your neck trying to help others. They never appreciate it anyway.

Twitter suspension is irrelevant

Many other platforms exist

Bigger, better and more important

Despite growing up during The Troubles. I don't not wish death on anyone. If Corbyn was PM, the working class and rich will be off. So it be mainly dole claimants remaining in UK. No doubt Ireland will screwed over to help Labour.

I'm already making plans in case Labour win. I wonder if Lativa (Riga) need hospitality staff or maybe I could buy a pub?!

If you want the best healthcare go to Canada, their hospitals are amazing.

Funny you should say that, as Canada seems to be traditionally leftish.

At the federal level, Canada has been dominated by two relatively centrist parties practicing "brokerage politics", the centre-left Liberal Party of Canada and the centre-right Conservative Party of Canada. The historically predominant Liberals position themselves at the centre of the political scale with the Conservatives sitting on the right and the New Democratic Party occupying the left. Five parties had representatives elected to the federal parliament in the 2019 election: the Liberal Party who currently form the government, the Conservative Party who are the Official Opposition, the New Democratic Party, the Bloc Québécois, and the Green Party of Canada.

If you mean by "the rich" Green Man folk like the ghastly Alan Sugar I say "don"t let the door hit you on the way out and good riddance."

But I seriously doubt the rich will leave and how the working classes could afford to is a mystery.

Of course as an old lefty (who still looks young ) I believe if Corbyn doesn't win the UK is doomed, doomed I say.
Brexit will tear the place asunder as it already has the people and the union will eventually break up.

There is a real problem with who the rich are today. As Denis Healey correctly said..the Tories are now a party of real estate agents and bookies runners. That's an unkind insult of course to those 2 professions but you know what he meant..people who know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Corny old saying but I believe very apt.

I saw all this when moving to Oz..I was very suspect that it was a country where ghastly property developers(used to be a dirty term in the UK) and their fellow travelers like Alan Bond..a thugish little London ex-house painter who conned a nation, were lauded by gutter newspapers (all owned by the Dirty Digger) ..most fell over eventually and I believe they will in Britain as the excessive greed and drive for $$Billions you could never spend in a 100 lifetimes is constantly drummed into heads ..but the damage done will be shattering.

I could be wrong of course ..there's a first for everything ..and it all might be hunky dory . Not holding my breath though.

Twitter is an odd thing..I don't know whether it's really influential or just a giant Chorus Line.

Who were planning on having executed BookWorm? Twitter editors?..perhaps a guillotine could be erected at Marble Arch, I have a few candidates..I'll forward names to you..I thought the death penalty was abolished?.

Individual experiences are varied and sometimes worlds apart.

I never dealt with shit for too long. Now I deal with it in a way which frightens the shit out of some.

Canada - lefty.

Well, blessings in disguise I suppose.
At least it wasn't under the spell of US right-wing conspiracy crap or Murdoch media?

Evidence speaks for itself.

Right?

Canada doesn't have a Murdoch paper, a Murdoch film-TV production company or a Murdoch-owned television network. ...

Canada has a calm environment. Ranks well in terms of safety.

I am not 'rich' Hedda I am just careful with money. but I am a high earner as people like to say. I have sold my pubs now which I owned and ran. I have no idea what the new owners are going to use them for.

Then I got my sideline business which is selling and distribution of liquor, which I am self employed. All newspapers are garbage to me, I only use them for packing and mopping up spills.

Jo, the reason why Canada health service is good because it's not entirely free nor abused, my business partner went over for a back operation cost him but worth it. No long waiting lists.

JK and I are with you there BookWorm- I've lived long enough to see KARMA strike too many times to not believe in it.

The problem is- it can take soooooooo long and so many people get hurt in the meantime.

Like the ghastly Carl Beech..poor Harvey Proctor. But perhaps Harvey had to fo through what he did for a Higher Purpose. Let's hope Karma strikes those coppers who caused that fiasco.

NOW you tell us you had pubs Green Man
!! and you distribute booze !!

Actually I was brought up part time in my Aunt's pubs when my mother was often ill and I loved it..they are bloody hard work. I always feel sorry for publicans because they are always on- 24 hours a day..it's a tough job.

I got my first pub job in New York, was supposed to be a holiday. Then heard the IRA was bombing near I lived.

I told groovy uncle that I don't want to go home. Then he heard the pub where we drank needed staff.

My uncle sweet talked the bar manager, my uncle and bar manager helped sorted out visa and work permits.

After gaining skills and experience I went to takeover a failing pub and turned them to profit's.

This helped me assist other grotty pubs in to something nice and worth establishments. It Pissed off regulars because I was " invading their home's" around USA and UK. I have bought club's in Canada but hired staff to make it their own place. As long as I got to see the book's I'm happy.

I have rubbed shoulders with the rich but nothing beats having a chat to a down and out bloke, who wants to open up to you.

Oh, I finally helped Andrew get gainful employment and training. He now lives in Jersey.

Green Man,

The death penalty is dished out without judge and jury.

It is dished out by cops with guns on the spot.

Yet, it doesn't apply in any other situation post conviction.
There are people in prison (and still walking the streets) who are very, very dangerous.

I was in conversation yesterday with a central government worker.
During conversation, they turned the topic to the toxicity of the media and the current state of public disdain towards issues.

My reply "Well, shut the lot of them down. They do not help society. These things are only going to get worse."

When central government are seeing it and acknowledge it, you know things are bad.

When the media and others lie, this causes others to speak the truth. At some point the truth will be damaging towards the media.

Me, I don't give a fuck if they disappear. After all, they'd happily allow somebody to die if it serves their purpose. At the end of the day, the media have no legal right to exist.
Truth is a legal duty and requirement to be given by those who it is expected from.

So, whilst the media spend their time yelling people "You need us to hold power to account." Don't forget the role some of them played in preventing power from doing what is right.

Bribing officers and manipulating politicians. For starters.
