I watched an interview with his wife and others.
He was a homosexual according to some on there. That's not a problem, but it could have been for others and the reason behind his behaviour and disappearance.
It was scandalous back then to be found as gay. In certain terms it still is today going by reactions of others.
Is he still alive though?
I love Lucan conspiracy tales.
He was bisexual and his lover at Etom was the painter
Dominick Elwes, father of the actor Cary Elwes.
Elwes killed himself after being ostracized by the Lucan set for allegedly bungling approaches to the media..blackballed by the ghastly
James Goldsmith.
I reckon the rumour, around long before they made a film of it- is true. That Lucan hid out in a remote Swiss Alps lodge owns by Goldsmith for a year and then said he wanted to return to "clear his name" which meant Goldsmith & others would be in serious trouble..so Goldsmith sent a small boat to bring him back and a hit man shot him mid Channel and dumped the body.
