Speaking of geriatrics ..tales now emerging just as I predicted (where?..on here ) that George Pell, a giant of a man at 6'6" would just like JK not become a "reviled" and even "vile" pervert in jail as his enemies salivated over..but in fact become a kindly and respected figure among other prisoners who are more often from under-privileged socio-economic groups and look to perhaps an older wiser man who offers advise and comfort.

Apparently Pell even won over warders and was especially befriended by a number of Muslim devotees who respected his religion.

And the mandated extra-judicial punishment by prison bosses - 23 hours a day in solitary confinement was apparently water off a duck's back for a priest who has spent a lot of his life praying in solitude. I suspect he actually preferred this as he had a TV in his cell and a steady supply of books to read.

One thing annoyed the Prison Governor apparently- Pell received 100s of letters weekly from all over the world at 1000s of cards at Christmas.
