There's a spanner in the works somewhere on this one. Although London's hospitals have doubled their ICU capacities, they still can't seem to get their sickest patients moved into the Nightingale. Shelagh Fogarty has been discussing it on LBC.
To quote LBC, The Independent's Health Editor said, ""Staff in other departments are saying they are struggling to the get the Nightingale to accept patients because in effect its admissions criteria is set at a level whereby the most sick patients won't actually meet the criteria". So there's serious issues with clarifying what the admissions criteria are. There's your answer Ken.
