Why are they just focusing on the colour of the iconography; what about the gender?

We have learned in recent years that we have been mistaken for thousands of years and gender is fluid - so how can we know where God or his "son" may identify?

Also surely by now men can give birth because they must have the right to? So what about all that Mary mother of God stuff.

Needs looking at folks; urgently...

I'll ask her next time we have a conversation.

We only communicate spiritually so I've never met her in the flesh.

Probably will soon though .

Cheeky bastard.

Wyot, also you should read this.

medium.com/publishous/jesus-was-not-nice...-either-7b785c723954

My daughter's are very devout Christians and do lot's of community and charity work work in Long Island. I will never trash their religion in person. They know what my views are but they cool about it.

Their mother (my ex ) is agonistic she believes some something's in the Bible and Jesus. I will never debunk her theories either.

We also been to the last of Billy Graham Crusade's and Jimmy Swaggart numerous times in the past. We took the girls with their 'stepdad' also.

(I was there with a friend when Jimmy was crying after being caught with a hooker, he should of won an Oscar ).

When I had to see the my daughter's for the first time, he stayed in a hotel for a few days, so I could get to know them and they got to know me.

They took interest in church volunteering and it progressed from there, they made up their own minds what to believe in.

Archbishop of Canterbury jumps on every bandwagon and he's like a nosey, interfering neighbour. He is definitely a lost sheep.

Not sure why I particularly should have read the link GM, but it was interesting so thanks.

People can commit kindness and brutality in the name of Gods of all kinds, and the same without them. While I would never intentionally cause anyone pain by knocking beliefs, I also refuse to award anyone respect just because they believe; because kindness to others requires no supernatural basis.

And if it did, I would question how kind in reality that person can be if they require dogmatic belief systems to "become" or justify being kind and loving.

Life has so much more intrinsic value and majesty when contemplated as a wholly temporal and temporary phenomenon, than through an eternal reward/punishment system.

Once people start viewing themselves as not limited in time, the here and now and the people in it can become degraded - and so degradable - as only a means to an end, rather than inherently valuable.

I went to a Billy Graham revival meet once when I was a kid. No idea why my mother took me and I can't remember much about but it was the first big thing I'd been to and there were 1000s there.

I think I might of gone right down the front as well (pushed by her) to "receive" Jahaysus in our hearts or something.

# Once went to see the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi too as a 16 year old and went back to his hotel convention centre where we were to be given the secret word.

There were no rooms left so they put me in the Maharishi's own room. He took so long coming I went through his telephone book and wrote down numbers for all sorts of people..Warren Beatty, George Harrison, Shirely MaClaine etc.

Then the Maharishi came in and gave me the "secret word"....it was Ommmmm.

## Rang up George Harrison a week later but he hung up on me.

What a bastard eh ?!

The Billy Graham crusade's were an experience. Tears, strange music and atheists being converted. The man had a fantastic stage presence for one thing.

I have read most of his books, again interesting theories and great style of writing. His books on Angeles is not sneered at either.

Jimmy Swaggart on the other hand can't sing nor play piano like his cousin.
