Major incident in Manchester. 3 Years, 8 Months ago
Oh sod off!

Its not a major incident at all.
I thought maybe a train had crashed killing all on board, or that a terrorist had gunned down people in the trafford centre.
Not just a few more people with an infection!

They should read this...

Quite Honey. I wish more people would collectively tell then to sod off.

And this story is just bloody ridiculous. Paul Scholes recieves a visit from the Police for having a gathering for his son's birthday.

What the F*** has this got to do with the State?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-53635942

Oh but people will die! Well they don't seem to be much anymore do they...

Many would disagree!

As this enexplained escalation of infections is very worrying - bearing in mind the ongoing efforts to prevent a second wave.

Ten towns in Greater Manchester are seeing the same spikes - and the underlying reason(s) must be ascertained as a matter of great urgency.

Certainly before any further easings can be contemplated - and before we're all greenlit to travel abroad, without restrictions.

I have noticed some news networks are saying thing's like "Deaths with Covid 19 or people died having Covid 19."

news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-brazilian...d-infection-12039534

Sounds like aspergillosis to me. If Bolsonaro is going to the rainforest and attending meetings with dodgy air conditioners, then mould on his lungs sounds inevitable.

I have a very tin foil hat it's guarantee to defeat any cold, flu viruses and paranoia. Do you want it Barney ?

Wyot, I agree we are living SS style Germany. If have a vaccine is made and will be giving out like sweets. I will not take it, I don't think the MPs would either.

It be like the V TV remake. The aliens pretending to be all nice but are actually sinister with their vaccines because they are tracking devices. Sounds like the NHS teaching app.

At a push, it might be described as a major incident within the NHS IF they had to make special arrangements.
But a general major incident worthy of a news flash, it is most certainly not.

I am glad to help at this time of great urgency Barney

We have eased lockdown. As us staying indoors didn't see the virus get bored and head to another planet, infections are going up. This is because the virus spreads through people, and people meet more often when they are not indoors.

We could go into months or years more lockdown and wait for a vaccine to arrive; but I think most of us would wish to head for another planet once we see the outcomes from that disaster unfold...

And believe me that disaster will hit everyone; not a tiny minority like Covid.

Again Honey, I'd disagree. Because many who see unexplained spikes - when the graphs are supposed to be levelling out or declining - will be very interested.

For example, I've cancelled my Salford trip as a result of this news item - and am most grateful for it getting priority coverage. As I was with the Leicester events.

I agree it is very concerning, but not a flipping major disaster!

To those infected - it was a disaster.

Please understand that the most dangerous threat to human life in our country is the coranovirus.

It's not vaguely 'trivial' - so many families in every country on earth will tell you that!

And we need more information - locations/deviations/NHS competency etc. - rather than less.

In the UK where we live - and elsewhere, where we might be going...
